"There's no sense making any real effort". That is the philosophy followed by Etsuko at high school, letting the weeks drift by without any goal or purpose, until one day a transfer student by the name of Riina asks for her help in setting up a yacht club. Etsuko reluctantly joins the club, after hearing Riina talk with real passion about her dream. But little by little she becomes increasingly interested, and finds that she loves training with her team mates.
